On November 29, the 22nd weekend fireworks show of 2025 lit up the night sky above the Liuyang Sky Theater as scheduled, marking this year's final weekend fireworks spectacle. That evening, crowds thronged the theater and its surroundings. Among the visitors, five Russian influencers turned their cameras toward the dazzling display, capturing immersive moments to showcase Liuyang's unique charm to global audiences.

These five Russian bloggers arrived in Changsha on November 24 for an eight-day deep exploration tour, aiming to share Hunan's distinctive appeal with international viewers.

"Liuyang fireworks are amazing—absolutely spectacular!" exclaimed a Russian influencer, who is the founder of the Telegram channel "China User Guide," which has over 120,000 subscribers. In recent years, he has successfully guided more than 5,000 tourists to visit China using his travel guides. "I will share this journey, especially my incredible experience in Liuyang, through a series of posts with my readers."

Beneath the brilliant fireworks, Katarina Stabredova, whose Instagram account boasts over 920,000 followers, frequently raised her phone to capture every sparkling moment. She has already begun updating her social media with the highlights of her trip to Hunan, presenting vibrant slices of everyday life to Russian netizens through her lens.

Before the fireworks show began, the group enjoyed authentic Liuyang steamed dishes. Signature local delicacies such as the Five Steamed Vegetables and Lamb-stuffed Sticky Rice Meatballs were served one after another. The guests not only savored the flavors but also asked questions about cooking techniques and ingredients through interpreters.

Fireworks have become a key element in Liuyang's international communication, repeatedly becoming global viral sensations. Liuyang's creative fireworks performances, combined with drone displays, have set two Guinness world records. Scenes like the "Tree of Life" have gone viral on overseas social platforms and were shared by Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

With the recent establishment of the Liuyang International Communication Center, a comprehensive communication matrix is rapidly taking shape, featuring "one official English website, several overseas social media accounts, and a team of international communication ambassadors." The content created by these Russian influencers represents a vivid practice of this communication strategy. Through their lenses, they are not only capturing dazzling fireworks and authentic food, but also telling compelling new stories about Liuyang.
