The 2025 Hunan Global Partnership Conference on Trade and Investment Promotion was held in Changsha on November 20, 2025. More than 500 attendees, including government representatives, diplomats, heads of business associations, and entrepreneurs from over 30 countries and regions worldwide, participated in the event. During the conference, the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province released the 2025 Hunan Investment Environment Report. This report showcases Hunan's investment value and development potential, serving as a comprehensive reference guide for global investors.
Hussam Al Husseini, ambassador of Jordan to China, and Somchith Inthamith, honorary advisor to the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) and former deputy minister of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Laos delivered speeches. They spoke highly of Hunan's active role in international economic and trade cooperation. Aligning with their respective industrial strengths and development needs, they expressed interest in future collaboration with Hunan in such fields as energy, agriculture, cultural tourism, and infrastructure.
The Hunan Sub-council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) signed a Friendly Cooperation Agreement with six overseas business associations. They are the LNCCI, the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS), Malaysia, the Euro-Sino Exchange Center (EUSCC), the Arab Chinese Cooperation & Development Association (ACCDA), the China-India-Middle East-North Africa (CHIMENA) Business Council, and the Breizh China International Association, France.
Five provincial industry associations established targeted partnerships with five overseas counterparts. The associations include the Changsha Construction Machinery Association, the Changsha Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry Promotion Association, the Hunan Machinery Industry Association, the Hunan Grain Industry Association, and the Hunan Mining Association. Their new international partners comprise the ACCCIS of Malaysia, the ACCDA, the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the National Federation of Rural Cooperatives in Indonesia, and the CHIMENA Business Council. The collaborations span multiple sectors such as equipment manufacturing, intelligent connected vehicles, grain trade, and mining development, outlining Hunan's new pattern of "multi-dimensional, multi-level and all-round" opening up.
