The 2025 Changsha International Procurement and Industrial Collaborative Innovation Conference opened in Changsha on November 10. This is the third consecutive year that Changsha has built an international trade cooperation platform for global buyers, suppliers and service providers to engage in direct procurement, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

The event attracted over 1,000 participants from nearly 800 Chinese and foreign enterprises and institutions, including more than 390 international buyers, suppliers, and service providers from 30 countries and regions such as the United States, Germany, and Japan. Over 30% of attendees hold senior management positions at the vice general manager level or above. During the event, the 2025-2026 International Procurement Demand Order was released, covering more than 220 pieces of procurement information in key sectors such as intelligent manufacturing, aerospace, inspection and testing, new materials, and energy storage equipment. The products include Changsha's flagship high-end manufacturing products, as well as advanced and sophisticated items in niche areas like lightweight aerospace components and intelligent driving systems.

A spokesperson for the Changsha Municipal Science and Technology Bureau made a presentation themed "Building a Global R&D Center," highlighting the city's innovation achievements in building a "1+1+N" policy system and advancing the "seven major projects" since 2023. Currently, Changsha ranks 44th among the world's top 100 science and technology clusters and 23rd among global research cities, placing it at the forefront of China's innovative cities.

The conference centers on three core industrial modules, namely, "Digital and Intelligent Transformation and Artificial Intelligence," "Aerospace and Low-Altitude Economy," and "Inspection, Testing and Integrated Services." Through global procurement trend analysis, project signings, enterprise roadshows, and face-to-face supply-demand matchmaking meetings, it enables precise and efficient alignment between production and sales.
