An exhibition titled "Encountering Dunhuang in Hunan — Exhibition of Artworks from Dunhuang" opened at the Hunan Cultural Center on October 28. This event not only initiates a profound cultural dialogue between Dunhuang and Hunan, but also builds a new bridge for cultural exchanges and mutual learning between the two places.

After months of meticulous preparation, the exhibition presents a rich and representative collection, featuring 30 Dunhuang colored sculptures and 70 paintings using colored stone powder. It also showcases the mineral pigments used to create these artistic treasures, offering a comprehensive and multidimensional view of Dunhuang art's unique charm. These works reflect the vibrancy of Dunhuang culture and highlight recent achievements by the Dunhuang Cultural Center in intangible cultural heritage preservation, allowing Changsha residents to experience Dunhuang's millennia-old civilization without leaving the city.
