"Experience Vibrant China in Changsha — 2025 Overseas Media Tour of the Star City" was launched on October 25. Representatives from 16 overseas media outlets across nine countries including Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, and Malaysia, along with three foreign digital content creators, embarked on a journey to feel the pulse of China and experience the vitality of Changsha.

At the sixth Liuyang Fireworks Conference on the evening of October 25, members of the press delegation repeatedly gasped in awe at the spectacular displays, from a bridge of fireworks arching across the sky to an aurora-like cascade of light.

"I've never seen such a grand fireworks display. It was an incredible night," said a news anchor from the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT), who couldn't stop raving about the spectacle even after a good night's sleep. On October 26, while exploring the Hunan Xiangjiang New Area City Gallery, she was once again awestruck by the city's urban planning, cutting-edge technologies, and interactive experiences. "Changsha uniquely pairs a history stretching back millennia with cutting-edge technology. How can it achieve such an integration and balance. I'm really interested in this."

Serving as a window into the New Area's image, the Hunan Xiangjiang New Area City Gallery integrates technologies like digital twin and VR experience to vividly showcase the integration of industry, city, people, and culture. As the delegation explored, they were captivated by scenarios such as a digital scene of Yuelu Academy's gate, a cube-shaped 3D city art installation, and naked-eye 3D shows. In the green-benchmark interactive zone, waves of azalea flowers bloomed at their fingertips through gesture recognition, and the waters of the Xiangjiang River appeared to ripple beneath their feet as they stepped on the projected floor surface. "This is my second visit to Changsha—the first was 30 years ago. Seeing how the city has risen, with so many advanced technologies, makes me truly happy," said a senior reporter from Singapore's Fortune Times.

At the Hunan Blinx Technology Co., Ltd., the humanoid robot X1 greeted visitors with a wave. The highly integrated six-axis collaborative robot requires only one power cable and one communication cable to complete all control tasks. These smart robots sparked the senior reporter's interest. As a professional journalist, he took notes and photographed everything he saw. "China is leading the world in fields like artificial intelligence (AI). I hope to return in another 30 years to witness an even more remarkable China, and I also hope for deeper collaboration between China and Singapore in AI."

The humanoid robot X1 became a highlight on site, with visitors lining up to imitate its poses for photos. When a staff member explained that the robot can simulate human hand movements with remarkable precision and can be widely used in household services, industrial automation, and other scenarios, gasps of "Wow!" echoed through the room. One visitor remarked, "So this is what the future looks like!"

In the coming days, the delegation will pay field visits to sites including the Zoomlion Intelligent Industrial Town and the Malanshan Video and Cultural Creative Industrial Park. The news anchor from Thailand said she plans to document her journey and share it widely. An online creator from Malaysia shared that she has already edited videos on the fireworks and other highlights, which she will soon post on her personal social media accounts. "I hope people can see a beautiful, vibrant Changsha through our eyes and discover its unique charm together."
