Rexue Dangge (Ode to the Hotblooded Youth), a dance drama by the Hunan Song and Dance Theatre, was staged at the Hunan Grand Theater on October 15. Set in Shanghai in the 1930s, the show portrays a group of passionate young artists, including Tian Han, Nie Er, and An E, who used literary and artistic works to speak for the working masses and the national salvation movement against Japanese aggression, ultimately creating the national anthem "The March of the Volunteers."
