At the promotion conference, Governor Mao extended a warm invitation to the students in Beijing from three key perspectives — "Hunan in your eyes," "expectations in your hearts," and "call from afar." He marked that, Hunan boasts long-lasting historic culture, profound revolutionary culture, and vibrant modern culture. In recent years, the province has been steadfastly pursuing the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" blueprint, striving to achieve new levels in comprehensive strength, make breakthroughs in development momentum, and improve the development environment to new heights. Standing at the new starting point, Hunan is brimming with immense potential, promising prospects, and boundless opportunities. The province is actively seizing the opportunities of reform and opening-up, unleashing a surge of vitality in innovation and creativity, creating a beautiful scenery of lush mountains and clear waters, and writing a new chapter in which people live and work in contentment.

"As long as you come to Hunan, you will surely find a stage to shine; as long as you are a seed, you will surely take root, sprout, and thrive in Hunan!" Governor Mao said. He expressed his hope that everyone will actively engage in the vibrant efforts to achieve high-quality development in Hunan, striving to become a "new force" in industrial development, a "trailblazer" in sci-tech innovation, and a "pioneer" in reform and opening-up, to create a happier and brighter future together with Hunan.

Hunan will attract talent through substantial preferential treatments and genuine sincerity, and serve talent with concrete measures. The government has rolled out the "Seven One" initiative for innovation and entrepreneurship, established "round-the-clock" recruitment platforms, and provided comprehensive support and whole-process guarantees for those who come to start up in Hunan.

Vice Minister Xiong Sihao delivers a speech.

Vice Minister Xiong noted that Hunan's talent recruitment campaign is a significant measure to implement the CPC Central Committee and the State Council's strategy of prioritizing employment and to promote high-quality and full employment for university graduates. He expressed his hope that graduates will seize the opportunity to explore and take root in Hunan, jointly creating a brighter future with the province.

He asked employers to recruit talent actively, utilize talent boldly, and nurture talent diligently, to foster an environment in Hunan where young talents can succeed and flourish. He required universities to strengthen career and entrepreneurship guidance services, guiding graduates to integrate their personal aspirations into China's overall development. He also expected all regional authorities to intensify efforts to implement preferential policies for talent recruitment, build platforms to dovetail supply and demand, and provide more opportunities for high-quality and full employment of university graduates.

Peking University President Gong Qihuang addresses the conference.

President Gong mentioned Hunan and Peking University share a profound connection. From the University's wartime campus in Changsha to contemporary industry-academia-research partnerships in the new era, the two sides have forged a deep historical bond and a resilient spiritual link. Hunan's special recruitment event in Beijing is a manifestation of expanding and deepening university-local cooperation. We encourage and support young students to choose Hunan and contribute their youth to the province's economic and social development. We hope that students will bear in mind the country's most fundamental interests, find their positions geared to the times, forge genuine competence in the new quality productive forces and critically needed fields, and answer the call of duty where our country needs them most and achieve greater achievements through substantial efforts.
