During the January-August period this year, Hunan's exports of agricultural machinery amounted to 530 million CNY, marking an explosive year-on-year growth of 95.5%.

At the warehouse of an electromechanical equipment company in the Shuangfeng High-Tech Zone, Loudi, a batch of brand-new rice mills were loaded into containers, embarking on their journey to Southeast Asia. "To address the rice impurity issue in the Southeast Asian market, our company innovatively developed a kind of rice mill equipped with dual vibration screen devices, which has proven highly popular among local customers," said a spokesperson of the company. In the first half of this year, this company achieved an export value of more than 30 million CNY, increasing by 20% compared to last year.

Changsha and Loudi cities are major agricultural machinery exporters in Hunan Province. In the first eight months, Changsha's exports of agricultural machinery soared 195.2% to 320 million CNY, accounting for 60% of the provincial total export value. Meanwhile, Loudi's exports rose 21.4% to 130 million CNY, all of which were exported from Shuangfeng County.

Mowers for lawns, parks or sports grounds with the cutting device rotating in a horizontal plane stood out as a "dark horse" in exports, with an export value reaching 220 million CNY in the first eight months, making a 14.4-fold increase. Grain processing machinery exports remained stable, with the export value up 34.1% to 140 million CNY. Exports of tobacco processing and production machinery saw significant growth, surging 289.8% to 28.544 million CNY.

In terms of export destinations, Germany is the most promising overseas market. Exports to Germany hit 120 million CNY during the January-August period, achieving a staggering 152.6-fold increase and showing an explosive growth trend. Exports to India progressed steadily, rising 5.3% to 62.223 million CNY. Exports to the Netherlands grew rapidly, soaring 448.3% to 38.507 million CNY.
