The 2025 list of top 50 global construction machinery manufacturers was released on September 9. Companies from 13 countries made the list, with China contributing the largest number—13 in total. Among them, five are from Changsha, namely Sany, Zoomlion, CRCHI, Sunward, and Sinoboom. Notably, Sany and Zoomlion ranked 5th and 10th, with total sales of 10.655 billion USD and 6.23 billion USD, respectively.

Data shows that the total sales revenue of the top 50 global construction machinery manufacturers amounted to 222.528 billion USD, a year-on-year decrease of 8.02%. Operating profits fell by 10.86% year on year to 30.301 billion USD, and the average operating profit margin was 13.62%, a drop of 0.43 percentage points compared to last year. These top 50 companies come from 13 countries. Apart from China's 13 companies, the list includes 11 from Japan, 6 from the United States, 4 from Germany, 3 each from Sweden, South Korea, and France, 2 from Finland, and 1 each from the UK, Italy, Austria, Canada, and South Africa.

Among the 13 listed Chinese companies, XCMG, Sany, and Zoomlion were ranked within the top ten. Others include CRCHI (33rd), Sunward (42nd), and Sinoboom (44th).

In this year's ranking, overseas sales for the 13 Chinese companies accounted for an average of about 41.94% of their total revenue, with the highest proportion exceeding 70% of a company's total sales, reaching 77.01%. It is the accelerated implementation of "overseas expansion" strategies that has, to some extent, helped Chinese companies continuously enhance their "operating quality." As these companies go global, they are gradually transitioning from "quantity growth" to "quality improvement."

The list was jointly published by the Organizing Committee of the T50 Summit of World Construction Machinery Industry and the China Construction Machinery Magazine. Initiated in 1999, the list has been published for 26 consecutive years. The ranking, based on corporate sales revenue, reflects a company's position in the global construction machinery industry.
