According to the 2025 Changsha Marathon Organizing Committee, as of the registration deadline at 17:00 on August 6, a total of 211,859 runners had registered for the event. Among them, 65,229 registered for the full marathon; 105,945 for the half-marathon; and, 40,685 for the fun run. 

The 2025 Changsha Marathon will kick off on October 26. Registration officially commenced on July 31, with the number of applicants reaching 60,000 on the first day alone. 

Data shows that, the oldest participant is 83 years old, registering for the fun run, followed by an 82-year-old runner, participating in the full marathon. The youngest participant is under 4 months old.
