The 27th Hunan (Nanshan) Liuyueliu Folk Song Festival opened at the Ethnic Culture and Sports Center in Chengbu Miao Autonomous County on the evening of July 30. Chengbu is known as the "hometown of folk songs in China."

A grand public celebration of the 27th Hunan (Nanshan) Liuyueliu Folk Song Festival began with a folk dance performance, followed by a series of spectacular performances. These included an original folk song performance, an intangible cultural heritage showcase featuring Nuo dance, a folk song duet, an interactive program between international friends and the audience, a children's chorus, and a singing and dancing performance.

The entire event used folk songs as a bridge to connect with the world, blending the authentic charm of folk songs, diverse local cultures, and intangible cultural heritages of Miao township. The traditional melodies resonated with contemporary sounds, creating a grand folk song celebration where everyone immersed themselves in singing and dancing performances.
