On July 23, the first trial run of the Xuefeng Mountain cableway in Xupu County was successfully completed. This is currently the world's longest alpine cableway, which is expected to commence trial operations in September. The Xuefeng Mountain cableway is designed with a total length of 7,600 meters and a vertical height difference of 1,157 meters. The one-way journey takes approximately 23 minutes, with its starting point seamlessly connected to the Xupu South Station on the Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway.

After the opening of the cableway, it will link core tourist attractions such as Chuanyan Mountain; Yangquepo, an ancient wartime village; Huayao Terraced Fields, and Huxing Mountain. By taking the cableway, tourists can easily pass through the sea of clouds, enjoy a bird's-eye view of terraced fields and canyons, and immerse themselves in Xuefeng Mountain's seasonal views—admiring azaleas in spring, enjoying coolness in summer, taking in colorful foliage and golden fields in autumn, and playing in the snow in winter.
