An investment promotion of Xinhuang polygonatum cyrtonema Hua, a prized herb in traditional Chinese medicine, was held in Bangkok, Thailand on July 14, 2025. 

Aiming to boost in-depth cooperation between Hunan's herbal medicine industry and the ASEAN market, this promotion meeting has attracted an array of Thai enterprises and gained sale orders valued at 92 million CNY. It helped pave the way for Xinhuang polygonatum cyrtonema Hua to enter the Thai market and the ASEAN market.

Co-hosted by the Thailand ASEAN Entrepreneurs Association and the Medicine Food Homology Association of Xinhuang Dong Autonomous County, this meeting marks a crucial step for Xinhuang polygonatum cyrtonema Hua towards the international market. Representatives from relevant Thai government departments and over 50 Thai food and pharmaceutical enterprises attended. 

A variety of polygonatum cyrtonema Hua products were showcased, including dried polygonatum cyrtonema Hua, liquor, tea, and health products, showing Thai businesses the high quality and great potential of Xinhuang polygonatum cyrtonema Hua.

In recent years, Xinhuang has made vigorous efforts to develop polygonatum cyrtonema Hua industrial chain while advancing the construction of a preliminary processing and distribution market. The China Polygonatum Cyrtonema Hua Industry Development Conference has designated Xinhuang as its permanent host, which is held in October annually.  

The outstanding product quality and the complete industrial system have won recognition and trust of Thai enterprises. Thirteen local enterprises expressed their intentions to purchase Xinhuang polygonatum cyrtonema Hua products, reaching sales orders of 92 million CNY. 

Prior to this meeting, an export order of over 80 million CNY of Xinhuang polygonatum cyrtonema Hua products in two batches was signed with a Vietnam enterprise. Beyond that, official approval documents for export to Thailand and Singapore have been secured, and a cooperation agreement of polygonatum cyrtonema Hua marketing was reached with a Kuwait merchant.
