The photo, taken on June 25, shows a 24-meter-long box girder segment being steadily installed onto the bridge abutment at the construction site of the Zheciping Grand Bridge in Yongzhou City. This bridge is a part of the Shaoyang-Yongzhou High-Speed Railway. Following the installation of this girder segment, the railway construction project has officially entered the box girder erection phase.

The Shaoyang-Yongzhou High-Speed Railway is a vital component of the Hohhot-Nanning High-speed Railway, a vertical artery of China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network. The line spans approximately 96 kilometers with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Upon completion, the travel time between Shaoyang and Yongzhou will be shortened from two hours to just half an hour. This railway is of great significance for improving the regional railway network layout and promoting the high-quality development of the central regions of China.
