As one of the five supporting events of the 4th Hunan Tourism Development Conference, the 7th Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi-Anhui Intangible Cultural Heritage Joint Exhibition will be held from May 24 to 26 in Yueyang City, Hunan Province. Representative intangible cultural heritage (ICH) programs from Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, and Anhui provinces will be showcased together at the lakeside of the Dongting Lake, offering visitors a dazzling cultural journey.

Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, and Anhui are key regions in the implementation of the Yangtze River Economic Belt development strategy. While sharing cultural roots, each province boasts distinct characteristics. Chu, Huxiang, and Jiangxi-Anhui cultures converge and interact within the economic belt. The four provinces' enchanting ICH legacies have become a vibrant cultural calling card of the Yangtze River Basin.

This year's exhibition theme is "Our Festival, the People's Heritage." The opening ceremony will feature performative ICH items from the four provinces. Through an "ICH + Technology" approach, the event will create a dialogue between ancient and modern times through a millennium of history.

The exhibition is divided into five sections:
- ICH Thematic Exhibition of Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, and Anhui;
- Yangtze River Basin Invitational Exhibition;
- Special Exhibition on ICH Integration;
- ICH Innovation Achievements; and,
- "ICH-themed Quality Products" Supermarket.

Through live performances, displays, sales, and hands-on experiences, visitors will get a close-up experience of traditional craftsmanship, witnessing how ICH items thrive in modern life and enjoying a ICH feast by the Dongting Lake.

The exhibition is co-organized by the Departments of Culture and Tourism of Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, and Anhui, along with the Yueyang Municipal People's Government. The exhibition is located at the Demonstration Zone for Historical and Cultural Protection and Utilization of Yueyang Tower (Hongchuan Art Gallery & ICH Exhibition Center) and will open to the public free of charge.
