On April 16, ahead of the 30th World Book Day, the Changsha Library and the Hunan Xiaoxiang Yikatong Technology Co., Ltd., jointly launched an integrated card designed for both reading and transportation services, referred to as "Shuxiang Jiaotongka". The card is set to be issued on April 18. It functions both as a reading card and a public transportation card, creating a life experience that embodies the concept of "reading ten thousand books, traveling ten thousand miles, and enjoying ten thousand conveniences" .
With this card, readers can borrow and return books at any of the 334 library branches of the Changsha Library and access its extensive digital resources. Additionally, the card allows users to travel using various public transportation options such as buses, subways, and ferries, in 336 prefecture-level cities or above across the country, including Hong Kong and Macao.
