The Hunan Youth Ballet Theatre staged the classical ballet "Swan Lake" at Hunan Theatre on the evening of April 13. The dancers are from China, the UK, France, Finland, Danmark, Ukraine, Mexico, Japan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, with the choreography by Vladimir Malakhov, who has been honored as the "Dancer of the Century". Peng Liu, head of the Hunan Youth Ballet Theatre, serves as the art director of the performance.

The theatre staged its premiere of "Swan Lake" in Hunan Province in 2024. To mark its first anniversary this April, the theatre will host open ballet classes, and stage a series of performances, including the classic ballet "Swan Lake" and a 3D version of "The Nutcracker". (Photo/Hui Shenghui)
