The photo, taken on March 25, shows villagers working at a litsea cubeba plantation at Yanling Village in Huayuan Town, Dongkou County. In recent years, the village has reclaimed more than 33.35 hectares of barren hills to plant litsea cubeba trees, creating employment opportunities for more than 300 local residents. This initiative helps the locals get employed near their homes while transforming barren hills into green landscapes, contributing to the growth of collective economy and villagers' income.
