The Hunan delegation attending the third session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) held group discussions in Beijing on March 6, 2025. The deputies conveyed and studied an important speech made by President Xi Jinping during his discussions with the Jiangsu delegation at the third session of the 14th NPC. They also deliberated the report on the work of the government, and reviewed the report on the implementation of the 2024 plan for national economic and social development and on the draft plan for national economic and social development in 2025, and the report on the implementation of the central and local budgets for 2024 and on the draft central and local budgets for 2025.

Shen Xiaoming, head of the Hunan delegation, and Mao Weiming, deputy head of the delegation, joined the deliberations with deputies.

According to the arrangements of the national annual "Two Sessions", Zhang Xingwang, a member of the CPC Leadership Group and vice minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Tao Ling, deputy governor of the People's Bank of China, were present to attentively listen to diverse perspectives.

Comrades from the General Office of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, and the Session Secretariat, attended.
