The 2025 Forbes China New Retail Industry Innovation and Investment and Financing Event (Forbes China New Retail Conference) will take place in Changsha this year. A promotion meeting for the event was held at the Forbes China Group Headquarters in Shanghai on February 25.
The promotion meeting was co-hosted by the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, Changsha Municipal People's Government and Forbes China Group, and co-organized by the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the People's Government of Kaifu District, and the Hunan New Retail Industry Council. During the meeting, Changsha's robust "innovation magnet" in the new retail industry has been showcased globally. The meeting attracted representatives from well-known international enterprises, business associations, media and other sectors such as PGA Capital, the Price Association of China, Apexe Global, and the Bank of East Asia.
The event features the opening ceremony, an investment promotion conference on the integrated development of domestic and foreign trade, new retail industry investment and financing roadshows and matchmaking activities, and the China Business Innovation Award Ceremony. Related innovative enterprises, investment institutions, and industry experts from home and abroad will discuss the trends for the innovative growth of China's new retail industry.
During the event, guests will have an in-depth discussion on "AI Reconstructs Consumer-Goods-Venue Relations" and "First Store Economy". Representatives from the country's quality entrepreneurship projects in the new retail sector and domestic and foreign high-quality brands and enterprises will carry out on-site roadshows and experience sharing sessions. The event will beef up Changsha's innovation in technology and business model in the new retail industry, serve as a financing matchmaking platform, and boost the rapid development of the industry.
