On January 26, student volunteers from Putou Village, Jiangfang Township, Chengbu Miao Autonomous County, replace red lanterns at the ancient dwellings in the village. As the Chinese New Year of the Snake is approaching, more than 20 college and high school students in the village have been engaged in voluntary services during their winter vacation. They help to replace and hang red lanterns on the wall of ancient dwellings and the ancient wind and rain bridges. This village, which boasts more than 100 well-preserved ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, was included in the fifth batch of national traditional villages in 2019.
