The 2025 Hunan Time-honored Brand and Domestic Fashion Expo will be held at the Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center (Mango Hall) from January 15 to 19. With an exhibition area of nearly 22,000 square meters, the expo will gather nearly 300 time-honored enterprises from more than 10 provinces (municipalities) across China. An online trade fair will be hosted simultaneously.

The exhibitors will present a wide range of time-honored food, cultural products, and daily necessities, including Fire Palace stinky tofu, Jiuruzhai wick cake, Jiuzhitang donkey-hide gelatin, Deyuan steamed buns, Laodaohe knives, Xiangzhong iron pot, and Changle sweet wine. These are all well-known 'old brands' among the citizens.

There will be an intangible cultural heritage experience area and a flash-mob market on the site. The organizer will invite national arts and crafts masters such as Ye Liping, a Tujia brocade skills provincial representative inheritor, and Wu Fangcai, a palm fiber weaving skills provincial representative inheritor to make on-site demonstration of Tujia brocade, Hunan embroidery, palm fiber weaving, and other skills. This aims to create a one-stop platform for consumers to experience traditional Chinese culture and purchase New Year's Eve goods through on-site production, product tasting, and interactive experiences.

A consumer goods trade-in activity will be specially launched at the expo. Midea Electrical Appliances, Haier Electrical Appliances, and other merchants will set up on-site exhibition areas, to offer the public a home appliances replacement "feast" with preferential discounts and favorable prices. Meanwhile, the Changsha Kaifu District Authority will issue 1 million CNY of New Year consumption coupons to help boost the economy.

By the end of 2024, there were 275 time-honored enterprises in Hunan Province, of which 31 were China Time-honored Brand while 222 were Hunan Time-honored Brand owners. The enterprises are from 13 industries such as food, catering, traditional Chinese medicine, and tea-making, with a total output value of more than 150 billion CNY.
