The Changsha Metro Line 4 North Extension Project started construction recently. This is the second rail transit line that has begun construction in Changsha this month, following the Changsha-Liuyang Maglev Express Line.

The Line 4 north extension line starts from Baimaxiang Station in Wangcheng District in the north, stretches along Leifeng Avenue and Jinxing North Road, and ends at the Guanziling Station, which is already in operation, in the south. Measuring 14.88 kilometers in length, the line has 10 stations. It is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2028, which will further shorten the travel time between Wangcheng District and the central urban area.
