An international freight train, which was loaded with 120 tonnes of sweet oranges from a Mayang company, departed on November 25. Among them, 41.5 tonnes of sweet oranges will be shipped to China's Hong Kong SAR, as well as countries including Canada after completing customs clearance formalities at the Huaihua Customs Authority.

Du Dengfeng, vice mayor of the People's Government of Huaihua City, announced the opening of the event. Representatives from the World Tourism News, European High-tech Industries Association, Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar, Hunan Chamber of Commerce in the United Arab Emirates, Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Chile, and Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Denmark sent congratulatory letters to the Mayang Sweet Orange Picking Season event, expressing their concerns on the development of Mayang's sweet orange industry.
Several rounds of signing ceremonies were held on site. The Mayang authority signed intent purchase orders worth 260 million CNY with 150 businesspersons from 14 countries. The move would further facilitate the market expansion and brand building of Mayang sweet orange, laying a solid foundation for the sales of the fruit.
The event was hosted by the Huaihua Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Huaihua Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the CPC Mayang Miao Autonomous County Committee, and the People's Government of Mayang Miao Autonomous County.
