New Observatory Opens to Public in Yongzhou

The Yongzhou Jindong Observatory officially opened to public on November 21, attracting a number of student visitors. This observatory is located in the Jindong Administrative District, Yongzhou, covering a total area of more than 500 square meters. It consists of three major exhibition areas—Understand the Earth, Understand the Universe, and Journey of Human Beings, and is equipped with a 50-cm large aperture astronomical telescope.
