A large-scale joint exhibition of Hunan historical records and cultural relics kicked off at the Hunan Museum on November 19. The exhibition is divided into seven chapters: local chronicles connecting the past and the present, evolution of Hunan's administrative division, Hunan astronomy and geography, Hunan customs and resources, Hunan ethnic integration, Hunan culture and talent, and Hunan local chronicles. A total of 148 volumes or sets of ancient local chronicles, books and records, 118 pieces or sets related cultural relics and 126 pieces or groups of pictures are on display. With records in local chronicles as the main line, supplemented by cultural relics, intangible cultural heritage, and scientific and technological means, the exhibition tells the history and stories of Hunan through physical exhibits and historical interpretation. The exhibition is open to the public free of charge until December 22. The photo shows visitors visiting the exhibition. (Photo/Guo Liliang, Hunan Daily)
