Wang Lutong, Chinese ambassador to Indonesia, shared several photos of Hunan's Zhangjiajie on an overseas social media platform on November 7, praising Zhangjiajie as the "living 'Avatar'".

Ambassador Wang introduced the recent tour of 47 members of an Indonesian national bank delegation in Zhangjiajie in English, with four photos of the delegation at the Ten-mile Gallery Resort in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. He recommended the spectacular landscapes of Zhangjiajie to netizens around the world, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the world's first batch of world geoparks, and China's first national forest park.

The Zhangjiajie-Jakarta air route was officially launched on October 25, building an air bridge between the two cities. The route facilitates Indonesian travelers' "Avatar" tours in Zhangjiajie and offers new development opportunities for Zhangjiajie to expand its inbound tourism market. So far, the number of the overseas sources of travelers to Zhangjiajie has increased to 182 countries and regions, over 50 more than last year. Zhangjiajie has become one of the most popular destinations of inbound tourism.
