A shield tunneling machine "Yongqing", which was jointly developed by the China Railway 11th Bureau Group Corporation Limited and the China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Corporation Limited (CRCHI), was rolled off the assembly line in the CRCHI First Industrial Park in Changsha on November 9, 2024.

This machine features a South China tiger pattern on its cutterhead, symbolizing strength and courage. Along with the patterns of Guangzhou's city blossom, the Kapok flowers, and clouds, these designs reflect the strong determination of the constructers to overcome difficulties.

With a power capacity of nearly 12,000 kilowatts, the machine's excavation diameter reaches 12.85 meters. Upon delivery to Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, it will be used in the construction of the high-speed railway connection line between the Guangzhou Railway Station and the Guangzhou South Railway Station.
