The third Cross-Strait Agricultural Cultural Exchange Activity and Hunan-Taiwan Agricultural, Cultural, and Tourism Integration Development Forum took place in Changsha on October 21.  More than 240 experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and non-government organization and youth representatives from both sides of the Taiwan Strait gathered together, exploring opportunities for cooperation and development in the field of agro-cultural tourism and boosting the integrated development of Hunan and Taiwan. 

The event was sponsored by the Cross-Strait Exchange Center and the Hunan Cross-Strait Exchange Promotion Association. A wide variety of activities were organized, including agricultural cultural experience, field visits, and exchanges and discussions. The aim was to offer an all-round and immersive experience to the participating Taiwan compatriots, to further deepen cross-strait exchanges and cooperation in agriculture, culture and tourism, and to further promote the integrated development of Hunan and Taiwan.

Job recruitment information for nearly 100 people, including 66 job positions from 18 state-owned enterprises in Hunan Province, was released on site. Hunan has provided Taiwan compatriots with more than 1,300 job positions so far this year, facilitating employment for approximately 4,500 Taiwan compatriots in the province.
