The Hunan Development and Reform Commission released an Introduction of Top 10 BeiDou Application Scenarios on October 24. It was an important outcome of the third International Summit on BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) Applications which was convened in Zhuzhou on the same day.

Ten application scenarios and twenty-three application cases of BDS are included in the introduction, showcasing the fruitful results of BDS applications. The ten scenarios are: intelligent vehicle operation and management; comprehensive management of natural resources; emergency disaster mitigation; precision agriculture; smart city governance; smart transport; digital construction; public health informatization; "BeiDou+" low-altitude economy; and, overseas applications.

The introduction pools cutting-edge and potential cases of BeiDou application scenarios from a summative, practical, and forward-looking perspective. These cases fully demonstrate the outcomes of BDS applications and development of BDS-related industries in the crucial areas and industrial fields since the operation of the BDS-3 system. It is of great significance in pushing forward the market-oriented, industrialized, and international development of BDS applications.
