The vegetable plantation in Xianglingshan Village, Lingling District, Yongzhou has been designated as a national pollution-free vegetable planting base and an assured vegetable planting area of Hunan Province. Every year, more than 1,000 tonnes of environment-friendly and pollution-free off-season vegetables are produced here and supplied to Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. In recent years, Lingling District authority has provided incentives for the ecological economy, boosting the industrialization development of contract farming via policy and financial support.
