A Hunan art show was staged in Ahmadi Governorate, Kuwait on the evening of September 3. The event was hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and organized by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Kuwait Chinese Cultural Center.

The art show featured a series of art performances with Hunan characteristics, conveying heartfelt wishes for reunion during the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival. A total of 33 artists from Hunan Acrobatic Art Theater, Hunan Provincial Song and Dance Theater, and Hunan Puppet and Shadow Art Protection and Inheritance Center staged brilliant performances for Kuwaiti audiences, showcasing traditional Chinese culture through acrobatic shows, folk dance, instrumental music performances, and puppet shows.
Zhang Jianwei, Chinese ambassador to Kuwait, noted that the event aimed to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, promote cultural exchanges between the two sides, and help more Kuwaitis understand traditional Chinese culture and the beautiful scenery and long history of Hunan. Many Kuwaiti people from all walks of life came to watch the performances, which also showcased the charm of traditional Chinese culture.
Li Aiwu, deputy director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, Party secretary and director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, said that the atmosphere was warm, allowing us to feel the attractiveness and appeal of Chinese culture in the Middle East, especially in the Gulf region. Arab friends are welcome to come to Hunan and China, to experience China's local characteristic culture and development achievements.
After the performances, Kuwaiti audiences praised that "the performances were very exciting", "the unique skills of the artists were so impressive", and "we spent a good night."
Additionally, a cultural tourism photo exhibition themed "Welcome to Charming Hunan" and an exhibition on Hunan's intangible cultural heritage were held outside the theater, offering audiences a new visual and cultural feast.
