The 9th China Fruit Industry Brand Conference was recently held in Lijiang, Yunnan Province. The CARD Center for China Agriculture Brand of Zhejiang University released the 2024 Fruit Regional Public Brand Value Report. Hunan's Fenghuang Red-heart Kiwifruit was included in the ranking list of the Chinese fruit regional public brand value, with a brand value of 2.435 billion CNY.

Fenghuang red-heart kiwifruit is a pillar agricultural industry of Fenghuang County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, and has been listed as a county-featured industry of Hunan Province and a poverty relief industry of the country.

In 2023, Fenghuang red-heart kiwifruit was honored as one of China's top 10 regional kiwifruit brands popular among consumers at the 12th China (International) Kiwifruit Industrial Conference, also the first Chinese Kiwifruit Expo. At the 6th Hunan (Changsha) Fruit Industry Expo, Fenghuang red-heart kiwifruit was recognized as a "Hunan Famous Brand", and Fenghuang County was titled "home of red-heart kiwifruits". At the 8th Chinese Fruit Industrial Brand Conference held in Shanghai, Fenghuang County was honored as a "strong county of kiwifruit industry".
