The 16th China (Liuyang) International Fireworks Culture Festival will be held at the Liuyang Sky Theatre on September 14 and 15. Liuyang will amaze the world again with its unique fireworks charm.

This year's festival will feature eight activities, including the opening ceremony & fireworks art show, the 5th Liuyang Fireworks Conference (LFC), the 4th Hunan-Jiangxi Border Area Fireworks Creativity Competition and the 11th Hunan New Fireworks Products Evaluation Competition, and a forum on the high-quality development of the fireworks industry. The 5th LFC is scheduled to take place on September 15. Four top-notch fireworks teams from the Netherlands, New Zealand, the Philippines, and Canada will compete along the Liuyang River, showcasing new creative fireworks arrangements and performance arts.

As a highlight of the festival, the opening ceremony & fireworks art show will adopt the drone sky curtain technology for the first time. Specially designed fireworks patterns featuring flower baskets, mountains and rivers, and the Tian'anmen Rostrum, as well as various pyrotechnic stunts, will be on show. In addition, singers including Joey Yung, Aska Yang, Shuimu Nianhua, and Rocky Chan will also perform at the night party, and enjoy the wonderful fireworks with the audience.
 
The China (Liuyang) International Fireworks Culture Festival, which has been held for 15 consecutive years, has developed into a globally influential event in the fireworks industry.
