The launching ceremony of the Shaoyang-Yantian Port rail-sea intermodal train and the Shaoyang used car export was held on the morning of August 22, 2024. A train loaded with wigs, gloves, used cars, and other goods pulled out of the Shaoyang East Cargo Yard, and will head for the Netherlands, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, and other countries through the Shenzhen Yantian Port.

Shaoyang City is now the 17th inland port connected to the Shenzhen Yantian Port. The launch of this train marked that the city's equipment manufacturing, special light ecological green food, digital economy, and new energy equipment commodities have achieved a "one-stop delivery" from factory to port and a "one-stop service" at the doorstep.
