The International Symposium on the 50th Anniversary of the Archaeological Excavation of the Mawangdui Han Dynasty Tombs opened in Changsha on August 18, 2024. During the symposium, four sub-forums were held, themed "cultural relics of Mawangdui Han Dynasty Tombs, Han Dynasty culture, and modern China".
