A total of 88 narrow-gauge coal hopper cars, developed by the Zhuzhou Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. of CRRC Yangtze Group Co., Ltd., were shipped to Australia from the Changshu Port in Jiangsu Province on August 13. Combined with the previous delivery of 68 hopper cars, the shipment marked the fulfillment of the contract for 156 narrow-gauge coal hopper cars between the Zhuzhou company and Austria's BRC company.

The narrow-gauge coal hopper cars are customized for Australia's BRC. The wagon is based on a two-car group (including a main car and an auxiliary car), uploading goods with touch bottom doors.

Since the commencement of the BRC project, the Zhuzhou Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. has focused on the project management information platform, initiated project planning and production technology preparation, optimized process programs, and strengthened production control, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.

Since 2021, the Zhuzhou company has provided nearly 500 railway wagons for BRC, winning trust from the Australian firm with high-quality products and demonstrating the competitiveness and influence of China-made products on the international stage.
