Tongjiang Port, located in the northeast of Heilongjiang Province, is a vital node along the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, and one of the three major ports on the east route of the China-Europe freight railway. Since the opening of the Changsha-Tongjiang route, China-Europe (Changsha) freight train service has seen continuous improvements in its capacity to access the channel network, providing more whole-process logistics solutions for local enterprises. The Changsha-Tongjiang route adopts public trains, customized trains, LCL products and other modes to help more Hunan-made products go global smoothly and enhance their international competitiveness.
