The Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area Management Authority announced on July 28, 2024 that, in accordance with the requirements of the Changsha Flood Control Emergency Plan, Yuelu Mountain and Orange Isle were temporarily closed from 12:00 the same day, as the water level of the Xiangjiang River continued to rise due to heavy rainfall. Any updates on the resumption of normal opening hours will be further notified via media channels.
