The construction of the Zaoshi Reservoir No.3 Grand Bridge in Shimen County, part of Luhongshan-Cili Expressway, was in full swing on July 14. With a total length of 1,249 meters, the bridge is a control project on the whole expressway. Upon completion, the expressway will serve as a north-south route linking the Three Gorges on the Yangtze River, Huping Mountain National-level Natural Reserve, and World Nature Heritage Site Zhangjiajie. It will be of essential significance to enhancing communication and exchanges between Hunan and Hubei provinces, as well as promoting social and economic development in Hunan's northeastern regions.
