A wonderful night event kicked off on July 11 evening amid a vibrant reading activity at the Changsha Library, to celebrate the 8th anniversary of the implementation of the Qingmiao Program. More than 300 young readers and parents from Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan cities actively participated, experiencing a unique reading feast together. A dazzling array of cultural activities were held on site that night.

The two-day event is jointly hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television, and the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Education. With the theme of "Reading Inspires Intelligence, Books Accompany You", the event aims to ignite young people's enthusiasm for reading through immersive reading activities and to help them develop a good reading habit.
