A large-scale original modern flower-drum opera of the Hunan Provincial Flower-Drum Opera Protection and Inheritance Center premiered at the Hunan Opera Performance Center on the evening of June 25. The opera, titled "Huo Gong Dian", or "The Fire God Palace Restaurant" in English, won wide acclaim from the audience with its Hunan-style stage setting and down-to-earth plot. The play will also be staged at the Hunan Opera Performance Center on June 27 evening. Those who are interested can come to watch the performance.

Set against the background of Changsha in the late 1940s, the play "Huo Gong Dian" tells the story of a humble citizen named Jiang Sandie who brings stinky tofu into the restaurant.

The play was created by a production team of top-notch experts in the industry, co-written by renowned playwrights Wu Aojun and Wang Migen, and directed by famous director Han Jianying.

"Huo Gong Dian" is a time-honored restaurant brand in Changsha. The play presented the story of Changsha through the local flower-drum opera, incorporating the restaurant's famous "Eight Dishes and One Soup" into the plot. This integration demonstrated the team's great ingenuity in promoting the synergy between culture and tourism, advancing the integration of the two sectors.
