The 2024 Trip Group Best Lists were released during the 2024 Hunan International Cultural Tourism Festival and the Trip Group Global Partner Hunan (Zhangjiajie) Inbound Tourism Conference. Hunan’s Changsha and Zhangjiajie were included on the list of the 2024 Global Top 100 Destinations.

The ranking lists are based on several factors, including genuine user feedback, annual sales popularity, consistent quality assurance, and distinct thematic features. The lists are compiled through analysis of millions of data points on the platform, aiming to provide travel guidance for users worldwide. Among these, the list of the "2024 Global Top 100 Destinations" is evaluated based on four metrics: popularity, the number of tourist visits, search volume, and destination-related orders.
