Hu Xusheng, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress and chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of China Zhi Gong Party (CZGP), met in Changsha with Ruslan Strakhar, deputy chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee of Belarus, and his entourage on the afternoon of May 21, 2024.

Hu welcomed the Belarusian guests and briefed them on the economic and social development of Hunan Province. Hunan Province and Mogilev Oblast established friendship province-oblast relations in 2017. Since then, the two sides have maintained close exchanges in economic and trade investment, culture, and other aspects.

They reviewed the fruitful results of exchanges and cooperation between Hunan Province and Mogilev Oblast, and had an in-depth disscussion on further deepening communication and collaboration in various fields. Both sides agreed that there is huge potential, vast space, and a promising future for stronger partnership between Hunan and Mogilev. They were willing to further promote reciprocal visits, deepen economic and trade cooperation, boost cultural exchanges, and continue advancing cooperation to achieve greater results at the new starting point.
