The photo, taken on May 6, shows the almost-completed Yanghu Ecological New Town South Area Smart Energy Station Project. The project has met the conditions for energy supply. The project is the first regional energy station in Changsha to supply energy exclusively to residential buildings. It was invested by the Changsha Urban Development Energy Co., Ltd., and undertaken by the 3rd Construction Co., Ltd. of the China Construction 5th Engineering Bureau. Leveraging Yanghu Lake's renewable water resources and using the technology of water-source heat pumps, the energy station can supply energy 24 hours a day. Upon completion, it will provide centralized energy supply services for about 6,000 households. (Photo/Tian Chao, Hunan Daily)
