Zhangjiajie Introduces New Ticket Price Policies for Scenic Spots

The Zhangjiajie Development and Reform Commission and the Zhangjiajie Administration for Market Regulation recently released a notice announcing preferential price policies for entrance tickets and relevant services at Zhangjiajie's scenic spots.  These policies are implemented under a government-guided pricing mechanism.

According to the notice, scenic spots across Zhangjiajie adopt the following preferential price policies.

Free admission is offered to:
Children under 14 (14 not included);
Seniors over 65 (65 included);
The disabled;
Military personnel in active service and their families;
Family dependents of martyrs, military personnel who died while on duty, and military personnel who died of a disease;
Disabled military personnel; and,
Retired military officials (including non-commissioned officers).
Valid documentations are required.

Scenic spots are encouraged to offer free admission or discount tickets to retired military personnel who present valid documentations.

Religious sites inside scenic spots offer free admission to their own religious personnel and working staff, and religious personnel outside the sites who share the same religious beliefs. Valid certificates are required.

Half-price ticket is offered to:
Children between 14 (14 included) to 18 (18 not included);
Seniors between 60 (60 included) to 65 (65 not included); and,
Full-time students in undergraduate programs or in lower levels of education.
Valid documentations are required.

The above-mentioned personnel are charged half price for relevant services inside scenic spots, and those under 14 (14 not included) can enjoy such services free of charge.
