A hiking event will take place in Hecheng District and Zhongfang County of Huaihua City on April 12. More than 600 hikers will participate in the event and explore the beautiful mountain views.

The hiking event will feature two categories of short-distance walking and long-distance trek. The 4.5-km short-distance trail starts and ends at the same location—Huaihua Grand Canyon Scenic Spot. The 16-km long-distance walking starts at Baima Scenic Spot and ends at Tudizhu Ecological Farm in Zhongfang County.

The trails will bring a better travel experience to hikers by allowing them to take in the sights of Hecheng District and Zhongfang County. Scenic spots along the trails include a national 4A-level tourist attraction—Huangyan Ecological Tourist Area, a national rural tourism village—Daping Village, and a national beautiful leisure village—Baima Village.

The event is hosted by the Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, and Sports of Huaihua City, the People's Government of Hecheng District, and the People's Government of Zhongfang County, and organized by the Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, and Sports of Hecheng District and the Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, and Sports of Zhongfang County.
