The 2024 China National Fitness Walking & Running Competition Hunan Wulingyuan Stop will kick off on March 31. It was learned from the organizing committee that participants will have free access to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Scenic Area from March 30 to April 2 by presenting their original ID card along with the competition number cloth.

The event is divided into two groups, the 5-kilometer fitness walking experience group and the 16-kilometer fitness walking (running) challenge group, to meet the sports needs of different fitness groups. All participants, including children over the age of six and seniors under 65, have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of Wulingyuan's mountains and waters during the event.

There will also be on-site exhibitions of ten cities from Sichuan, Shanghai, Chongqing, Anhui, Henan, Hunan, and other regions during the competition. This will enable the audience to feel the traditional cultural charms of different regions and the styles of different cities, presenting a "sports, culture, and tourism" integrated feast.
