The third Changde Tourism Development Conference and the 2024 Taohuayuan Cultural Tourism Festival will kick off at the Taohuayuan Tourism Administration Area on March 28.

The theme of the festival is "a better life in Taohuayuan." Four major events will be arranged, including immersive interactions with non-play characters (NPCs), an opening ceremony, a promotional conference, and agritourism activities.

A tapestry of activities will be hosted to create a good ambience for tourism and improve tourists' experience. They include:
- A bazaar in Wuliu Town;
- Taohuayuan Music Festival;
- Fantastic peach blossom tours;
- The selection activity of the Goddess of Flowers;
- The fourth Taohuayuan Huazhao Festival;
- A themed photo exhibition;
- Serial activities for overseas Chinese;
- A flash mob performance;
- Classified volunteer services;
- Beauty makeup photography;
- Pets interactions; and,
- Lotteries and gift giving.

The third Changde Tourism Development Conference and the 2024 Taohuayuan Cultural Tourism Festival is hosted by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the CPC Changde Municipal Committee, the People's Government of Changde City, and organized by the Changde Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television, and Sports, the Administration Committee of the Taohuayuan Tourism Administration Area of Changde City, and Chengde Urban Development Group.
