On March 19, international students guessed riddles at the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Changsha Medical University. The school carried out activities on the same day, in celebration of the Chinese Medicine Day, which falls on March 17 every year. Colorful activities such as the free clinic, guessing traditional Chinese medicine themed riddles, and Baduanjin presentation were held on site. Baduanjin, or 'eight pieces of brocade', is a form of qigong, a set of traditional Chinese fitness exercises combining physical movement, with breathing and meditation. The activities aimed to help more students understand the connotations, experience the profound culture, and promote the essence of traditional Chinese medicine. (Photo/Fu Cong, Hunan Daily)
